Joey is my old best friend [from nursing school] Elma's cousin. Joey and i knew way back in 1998. Wow, yes a long time. Joey asked me to watch movies with him all the time. And sometimes, i see him at work because he works through a nursing registry {he's also a nurse}.
well, he asked me couple days ago to go to his cousin's wedding in san diego. he asked me and annoyed me to the point i said, yes. funny because i told him that i was afraid that his relatives in san diego might think we were together [because we are not]. and then he said, "then why don't we make it real...let's be together for real." i was tongue tied and speechless for a minute. and then he told me that "he likes me..." as in..."likes me to be his girl" and my reaction? i laughed. "why me?" i asked and he said he liked me way before he even had the nerve to tell me. he liked me for all the reasons and stories that elma described me to him and for all the times i am with him and he feels that sense of comfort.
sigh. nice answer! but i told him that ia m scared and i am not ready and it's too soon and that he needs to get to know me. i like joey as a friend. he has been a wonderful " kuya" to me and elma. but i don't know ...i can't decide. funny because when i ended with han and i finally opened up my doors for dating, all of these guys are insisting to take a peek of my life and date me.
well, i'm just not ready for another relationship yet. i told han before that after him, i will lie low. i'll just be single and enjoy it. that way, there is no risk of getting hurt or gettign played upon again.
so well, i will be in san diego on the 26th of march with joey. and one more thing, elma is getting married on april 30 and joey is officially my date for elma's wedding upon his request.
well, can't tell you exactly who will i end up with. i am just enjoying's someome company right now. more yet, someone who is madly "in Like" with me.
